The key to the door for your career at DB Schenker in China

In your application you can outline your skills and personality and thus move a step closer to getting the job of your dreams. Now is your chance to convince us that you are the right person for the job!

1. Choose the vacant job position of your interest and send us your application by e-mail

Have you found the perfect job for you among our vacant job postions? Send us your application consisting of your CV in English and Chinese to the e-email address listed in the job description of your choice.

When preparing your documents, make sure they make a personal statement about you. List your work experience, qualifications and personal interests. A short introduction text in the body of the e-mail is required. Please attach all relevant documents as Word or PDF files to the e-mail and make sure your attached documents does not exceed 5MB.

2. Telephone or face-to-face interview

You have managed to grab our attention and are now in the final leg of the race. Now is your chance to present yourself and to impress us with your expertise!

Whether your interview takes place over the telephone or face-to-face, both options give us the chance to get to know you better and give you the chance to suitably impress us! How do you ensure that your interview is a success?

Preparation is the key in making a good impression.  Be prepared to answer questions on the following topics:

  • Your CV
  • Reasons for your application
  • Technical questions regarding the position and tasks you will assume
  • Questions about the branch and DB Schenker

On the other hand, make sure you are puntcual and that you present yourself as authentically as possible. You should also show us during the interview that you are interested in our company. At the end of the interview you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Use this opportunity to clarify any open issues and to prove to us that you really understand all aspects of our company and of your potential new job.

3. Possible additional instruments to test your abilities

Besides the telphone or face-to face-interview, we may also make use of other instruments tailored to the requirements of the respective job position. These instruments may include group discussions, writing assignments and role plays.
